Lice Lifters was an absolute lifesaver for our family. From the moment I called, they jumped into action and had us scheduled within the hour, which immediately took the panic out of the situation.
When we arrived, we were met with empathy, kindness, and so much patience — especially with our large crew. What could have been a very stressful experience was honestly turned into something that felt more like a spa day for the kids.
The owner is incredibly hands-on, and the staff is truly amazing — calm, thorough, and so gentle with children. They explained everything clearly, took their time, and never once made us feel rushed or embarrassed.

Cannot say enough good things about Lice Lifters of Charleston! They are new to Mt Pleasant (only 3 weeks old) so I am hoping to get the good word out for them. Called them late on a Thursday night in a panic after finding what I suspected to be lice in my daughter’s hair. Charlsi was so welcoming over the phone, calmed me down, and talked me through the process. She was able to see us by 10:30am the following morning. She checked and treated my daughter, and checked me too. We were in and out within an hour and a half, and we left feeling so much better and prepared to handle this on the go-forward. My daughter said it felt like a spa treatment 🙌🏻 Their approach does not require continued visits, as they offer the treatment to take home and apply yourself (after receiving the original treatment at the storefront). They also offer a complimentary check within 30-days. Charlsi has experienced lice firsthand within her family, and after consulting with friends and neighbors she realized the need for another option that offers full service end to end treatment. We feel so much better having been there to see Charlsi and her team today, and wanted to share how great our experience was! From the comfortable sitting room, to the friendly staff and the snacks and movies for the kids, it was definitely an incredibly inviting experience. I’d love to say “we’ll be back”, but in this case I sure hope we aren’t! In the event we are in this boat again though, we will definitely be coming back to Lice Lifters of Charleston!

After receiving the dreaded text that the kids were exposed to lice, we went to Lice Lifters to get them checked out. The shop was so clean and welcoming, and the girls were super gentle with the kids. The owner is as sweet as can be too. It was a great experience, I highly recommend!
